Stocktake in KNAPS

In the main menu click on the Stocktake menu item under Stock Management.

The following screen will appear

On this screen, you will be able to see all recently generated stocktake documents (both Completed and In Progress stocktakes).

Starting your Stocktake

Step1.

To start a new stocktake, click on New Stocktake on the top left corner of the screen.

Step2.

You will then be given the option to select between Full stocktake and Partial stocktake.

A Full stocktake is initiated when you want to finish a stocktake count on every stock item in your inventory.

A partial stocktake is initiated when you want to finish a stocktake count on a restricted number of stock items in your inventory filtered by a selected Class and Type of stock items.

Please note the following:

1. Opening a New Full Stocktake: If a FULL stocktake is opened but not finalised, you can't open a new FULL or PARTIAL stocktake. To start a new FULL stocktake, you must either:

• Finalise the current FULL stocktake.

• Delete the current FULL stocktake.

2. Opening Multiple Partial Stocktakes: If no FULL stocktakes are open, you can open multiple PARTIAL stocktakes. However:

• The PARTIAL stocktakes must not belong to the same Class and Type as another opened PARTIAL stocktake.
