Uploading individual products in bulk

To upload individual products in bulk, please follow the following steps in the Products screen.

Step1. Click on the top right corner of the screen.

The following drop-down options will appear on your screen.

Step2. Choose the option.

Choosing this option will open a new pop-up screen called Product and Price Updater.

Make sure the Create New Models Only box is checked.

Instead of manually creating new products one at a time, you can choose to bulk upload new products to KNAPS using this pop-up screen.

By clicking the button located at the bottom left of the Product and Price Updater module, a template CSV file can be downloaded. This CSV file shows the format in which the product data needs to be uploaded into the system. You can download this CSV file and use it to update the details of your new products. Make sure to save the file in CSV format after you're done. The upper part of the Product and Price Updater module gives you details of what each column in the CSV file template refers to.

Once the file is completed, you are then ready to start the process of uploading the file to the system.

The Product and Price Updater module has an option to choose Test mode before uploading the file live to the system.

Choosing Test mode allows you to test upload the products, and see any errors that may be on the file before uploading them live to the system. will be highlighted in Red and will be highlighted in Green

To see any errors and successes on the screen, you need to choose option under Upload Results.

Alternatively choosing will send you upload results to your email inbox so you can view them there. This email option does not hold up your screen, so you can choose to do other things on the system while the results are being prepared (especially when uploading big files).

Step3. Click the button to upload your CSV file. Then click

The following is an example of how errors and successes are displayed on the Product and Price Updater screen.

If there are errors on the CSV file, go back and fix the errors accordingly, and redo step3 above.

Once the file has been successfully uploaded in test mode without any errors, and is ready for live upload, switch off the Test mode as shown below.

The screen will then be switched to Live upload mode.

You can also choose to either email or display upload results in Live mode (similar to Test mode).

Step4. Click the button to upload your finalised CSV file. Then click

Congratulations, you have now completed bulk upload of your individual products!
